I ran 30.02 miles @ 9:29/mile AP.  It took 4:44:37 to complete the run (close to 5 hours).  The goal was to keep all splits within the 9:15-9:45/mile range.  I did that for 25 of the 30 miles.  Mile 2, 4, and 25 was fast by a couple seconds.  Mile 26 slow by 11 seconds and Mile 28 slow by 42 seconds.

Wow! That's a long run, I can't imagine running for almost 5 hours. Way to go PRE!

Absolutely awesome! Gorgeous day for it too! How was the trail around Lock 12?

ACorn,

Thanks. You wouldn't have to. You could run thirty a lot faster than that!!

Marc,

The trail toward Cheshire from Bruegger's - totally clear of snow/ice for the entire nine mile stretch. And clear the other way toward New Haven for the 5 mile distance!

And so I don't think I'll run tomorrow. I actually needed to run the 30 today because of time constraints...I could not figure out how to get it done on Saturday.

Maybe a Sunday run though. Let me know your thoughts on what kind of distance, if any, you would want to do Sunday.

Good job. Nice prep for the Ultra.
