Walked going into mile 3 to bring the pace closer to 9:45.  Did the same for the later miles.  Got the pace to 9:45 but brought back to lower pace when finished out the splits.  It’s okay.  I’ll need to walk during the ultra anyway.  I still believe I can succeed with maintaining 9:45s during the ultra and not go faster than that.
