Ran the Canal Trail again and got 6.48 miles done at 8:56/mile Pace in 57:56.  The aim was to keep the splits tight around 9:00/mile.  Split 2 was 8:44/mile.  All the other splits tight at 8:53-9:04/mile with 11 second range.

Hi Pat! Your half-marathon test yesterday was nice, good even splits. I should have been there to keep Bob company on the way back. Hope you bought him coffee!

Your making steady progress on the mileage. Keep the increments slow and steady and you will be in a good position later in the year for the marathon.

I am setting out a 8 week program for a 5K effort in early August, trying for a sub 23:00 in the warmer weather.
