Splits: 7:40, 8:46 (all uphill), 7:47, 7:50, 8:03 (Garmin still ticking away after crossed finish line).
I just ran a 5 mile race with splits being in the 7:40s!!!
Overall pace 7:56.
5 miles done in 39:42.
This was a hilly course, especially mile 2.
So I have entered new territory. Finally. I am running mile splits in the 7s range.

Burt, you got me out there again. I saw your recent races. So I decided to do back to back races yesterday and today. And another one planned for Thursday. Heck. Why should you have all the fun?
Trying to emulate you Burt...but your dang PRs I will not match for a while I am sure!

COURSE SCENIC DOWN TOWN WALLINGFORD
1. Start at 18 Kondracki Lane
2. Turn Right on Pond Hill Road
3. Turn Left on South Elm Street
4. Turn Right on South Main Street
5. Stay on South Main Street and continue on North Main Street
6. Turn Right on Curtis Street
7. Turn Right on North Elm Street
8. Stay on North Elm Street and continue on South Elm Street
9. Turn Right on Pond Hill Road
10. Turn Right on Kondracki Lane to finish line.
Directions to Steven’s Elementary School:
I-91 take Exit 13, at the end of exit take right onto Route 5, go to the first stop light and take a right on South Elm Street, take right on Pond Hill Road, take left onto Kondracki Lane. Stevens’s school is on the left side of the street.
Rt 15 take exit 64, coming north go under the over pass onto Quinnipiac Street, coming south take a right onto Quinnipiac Street, stay to the right of the triangular park. This is Ward Street, go to the end of Ward Street and take a right onto South Elm Street, take left on Pond Hill Road then take left onto Kondracki Lane. Stevens’s school is on the left side on the street.
