1117.  Weather Cool.  Long sleeve Hartford Marathon shirt and shorts.

State Street Out and Back Route. 

6.03 miles in 49:48 at 8:16 pace per mile.

5 HMP and 1.03 MP miles.

Splits: 8:18, 8:33, 8:19, 8:21, 8:07, 7:56, 7:49 (.03)

Was going for 9:00 miles but noticed going faster so decided on going for 8:37 pace Marathon pace miles.  Checked watch periodically and noticed going faster than MP and decided to simply maintain the faster pace. 

Seeing the 7:56 mile at mile six was nice!

What was meant to be an Easy run turned out to be a Lactate threshold run.
