Was going for easy effort to get the six miler done. It has been a week since my last run.
It has been a month since I have gotten a six miler in.
Feeling good that I was able to run for an hour.
Route: Hartford Turnpike out for three miles and then 3 miles back via State Street.
Most of the runs I have done this year are at around 9:35 AP.
I have just entered about six months of data onto this blog site and so have not entered any notes across those six months except basic mileage/pace data.

Easy. Got the scheduled 6 miler done. Some hills. On tpke at 4.5 miles was a steep hill about 0.33 miles and ran that for 0.12 miles ad then walked couple minutes. Goal was to go for 10:00 AP and did 6.2 miles at 9:53 AP.
Was not planning to run Colcester Half Marathon this year as not in "race shape." Decided last minute yesterday to register. It is this Saturday. Will not go for a PR but will use it as a training run and planning 10:00 AP for the course. I have not run long...this will guarantee a Long run gets done.

I maintained pace first 8 miles and slowed last 5 miles.
Good result given was not racing the course. Got a Long run done. That was important.
