Another run in the 8:40s range.  Tomorrow ends the 6th week of an 18 week training program for the NYM.  I am doing pretty well with the program given that prior to the program start, only 283 miles for the year.  I have picked up the mileage, the paces, and gotten better with the intervals and tempo runs.  Figuring I can now put together the prescribed workouts for week 7 through 18 (types of runs and at correct paces for prescribed distances).

Good to see you getting ready for a race again, organized as always! Has the weather broken there yet? I seem to recall that it gets a lot cooler there after the second week of August.

Not yet. But we have had a pretty decent summer - no heat waves or overly hot days this summer. Admittedly though, I at times walk around with a sweatshirt while indoors because the central air is running fine.
